Supplies Needed
Gather these simple supplies before starting:

- Cardstock (strongly recommended for durability, but you can use regular printer paper)
- Printer and ink
- Washable, non-toxic paint (green for the handprint leaves)
- Paintbrush or sponge brush (for even application of paint)
- Paper towels and/or baby wipes (for easy cleanup)
- Black or colored markers (optional – to write the child’s name and date)
Instructions for Making This Valentine’s Day Flower Handprint Craft
Print the Template
- Download and print the free Valentine’s Day Handprint Art Template on cardstock or heavy paper for durability.
- Click the “Get it now” button above. Save it to your computer and open the file in a PDF viewing software such as Adobe Acrobat. Go to the file menu and select print. Before printing, ensure the page size is set to “Fit,” your printer settings are set to “Best Quality,” and you have the correct paper format selected in printer settings.
Prepare the Paint
- Set up a crafting area with a protective table cover to prevent messes.
- Pour green washable paint onto a paper plate.
